Guess what? I've finally gotten my notebook!(more like a mini pc but wadeva...) this friday, we went to mustafa centre @ little india. it was really cool. the most interesting part was the food section. they have every sort of rice you can imagine. there are xtra long rice, short rice and there are also coloured ones! lol.
we bought extra long, purple and green. oh yea, we also went to eat prata but it wasnt too great... it shows that just cos its little India doesnt mean that the Indian food there is good.

wow! today, some students from Shanxi came to our school and we had a concert. It was really boring but at least there wer chairs for us to sit on. (probly cos they didnt want the guests to sit on the floor and it would look really bad if the china students get chairs while we hafta sit on floors.lol.) i think the school is really hypocritical since those visitors came to experience our typical day in school we should let them see the real side of our school and not the edited version. MR K didnt come to school today which was pretty ironic since he told us on the first day of school "i NEVER take MCs so all of you shouldnt either etcetra..." after concert, jiawen told me there was a fly on my forehead so i swept my hand over it and squshed the fly. its corpse couldnt be found but it left a little blood on my head.(gross)
i am gonna go soak my face in boiling water later....

the wind was really strong this morning. i thot i was gonna freeze to death... all those chinese orchestra ppl hafta go practice evry morn assembly.sigh. Jiawen, cooome baaack! Wow. when was the last time i posted something? we came back from KL awhile ago. we stayed at this hotel with a mall connected to it. It was pretty fun... especially the part where my parents gave me a wad of cash to fritter away at the mall. the stuff there are nice but the clothes are a bit last season so i bought v.little (4pair of pants and about 5 shirts)I also bought this bagwith a cute monkey logo. it is quite hard to shop for original stuff since a lot of stalls sell fake stuff or pirated stuff and that is like stealing other ppl designs and i cant stand those stuff. if i MUST buy cheap stuff from side stalls they should at least be originals and not copied from branded stuff.My aunt owns a photo studio and my mum dragged me and the rest of the family there to take photos. i brought a v.interesting book there and wanted to read the book rather than take photos.the sickening make up artist took like, 200 years to finish sticking solid substances that are artificial and not environmentally friendly on my eyelids(aka.fake eyelashes).ugh. the glue took two days to come off!i didnt want to take photos but mum said i must(sulk). the shopping was nice though.

Omg! how long has it been since i last posted? about 3weeks and 2 days... yeah... anyway, i got my earings off last sun. i got a bunch of new ones(yay!) i have problems locating the back of the earhole though... so i kept poking around everywhere until it bleeds.OUCH! went to pierce my ears last night at junction8, goldheart. DONT ask why i did it cos i dont noe.maybe it is to show zen that iam way braver than him or maybe i saw a pair of earrings hat are really nice?i got the man to pierce them both at the same time so i dont have to go through it twice. iam so getting rid of them once3weeks r up as these earings are hideous; silver balls. i ask my mum if i can get more piercings in future and she said yes, as long as we dont go to corner shops that used unsterelised needles(i said we cos zen also want to get his ears pierced) now mum is going around telling evry one how brave iam,embarrassing..

4. You must be able to support the hamsters(how would i know if you are not going to feed them to your starving family of 209?)

omg. sooooo much homework. I am giving away two hamsters about 1year old, FOR FREE. A cage with a wheel, water bottle, something used to clean the hamsters and if necessary, food, are included. The hamsters are healthy and both hamsters and cage are in good condition. i am giving them away as i have no time for them and would like to find them a better home. So? Wad are you waiting for? fellow students from skps or nchs who wanted hamsters but found them expensive, this is your lucky chance. Go home and beg your parents today. stress that the hamsters are FREE and that i am NOT some psycho weirdo that wants to sell kids off to africa etcetra etcetra.

I went to get my school bag and stationary @ junction8 today. Zen went crazy @ popular bkstore and bought almost everything in sight because he said "its not MY money anyway"-urgh. he wanted to get back @ my mum 4 scolding him by wasting her money @ popular buying stationery-CHILDISH! i got my bag @ a shop called zinc and zen got his @ OP. oh well, all bags at OP were on sale and all the nice bags for girls are taken anyway... we ate at swensens after that and are probably going to cold storage later...

Ahhh... Finally!communication with the outside world!!We moved in here on christmas eve and just got the cable TVs and internet access today!These few days have been like living in a cave!I will NEVER take cable and internet for granted AGAIN!!!!!!It was the worst Christmas I've ever had in my life:Christmas lunch-macaroni with left-over turkey, Christmas noon activity-Spring cleaning(but in this case, Winter cleaning), dinner-Food court"since the food court is so close to house, don't waste"quoted by Dad.Ok...ok.. so christmas should be about Jesus not other stuff...It still sucked. Anyway, I LOVE MY NEW ROOM!!!!!!!!!!My room has its own toilet so i don't hafta share with zen so we don't have to fight 4 the bathroom:)

I am so excited about the christmas gathering by mrs yee!i cant wait to see everyone else again.just came back from lunch-ate sushi.(sea urchins are DISGUSTING!!!!!)the pastor in church says that santa claus is actually satan with a misplaced 'n'. satan's motive is to steal the limelight from Jesus Christ so that instead of thinkin of Jesus on Christmas, ppl think of santa and presents.People are even replacing the word 'Christmas' as 'X'mas' taking away the word 'Christ' which is the whole meaning of Christmas in the first place-in my opinion. Christmas is a holiday for us to spend time with our family and is a very important day for Christians so we should respect and enjoy it.besides, Jesus has spent over 2000 birthdays without almost anyone wishing him a happy birthday but instead, taking photos and singing about satan under blubber and a red coat(no offense, people pretending to be santa in shopping malls).So, it would'nt hurt to sing him a birthday song this christmas, right?

I came back from thailand on thursday.The shopping part was nice but the crocodile and elephant park stunk- literally. i'm not generally an outdoorsy person.the pollution was pretty bad but its still fun if you like to learn about other country's culture.twenty five baht is about one singapore dollar and most stuff there are about 99baht to 2000 baht so its not really expensive depending on what you are buying.the people there are really friendly so if you ask nicely you can get a discount at most shops.the hotel was nice but I really missed my bed...

I went to novena square today. They set up a skating rink there. I went with jojo. It's actually harder than it looks. I fell down like a million time-I just lost control(v.embarrassin, especially since theres 3yr olds skating like pros there)I went to the bookshop afterwards and got more books. theres also this shop that sells really nice hairband and clips there,I bought quite a lot.there is also a booth that sells pendant made enitrely out of glass which looked alright but are ridiculously expensive and when a person like me who don't know a lot about economy and the value of money thinks that smthing is expensive, you better believe it. I mean, a stupid pendent the size of a segment of my pinky cost $45!And it looks like something jojo would have put in his mouth and then spit it out after sucking off the sugar.

Today, I went w/ mum to takashimaya. I saw this really cool art shop that sells these really beautiful beads(bead threading:my new hobby)the weird thing is...they sell beads one by one!of course, they sell some beads in sets of 5, but u can like just buy one single bead the size of a ear stud after goofing around the shop 4 half an hour. the shop keeper was really nice, I mean, I would be mad if I had been telling someone about some stpid beads for half an hour and they just bought 3...but then again, she was probably bored and I was the only customer there besides those people attending the workshops.the shop looks kinda inconspicious and small.It looks like a hippy shop selling floral bandannas, I wouldnt haf gone in if i werent so bored but im glad i did.

i just finished watching the show "the last mimzy". It is pretty nice. its about this little girl and her brother.they found this magical box from the future contAining toys that gives them powers like talking to bugs and making objects disappear and then appear somewhere else but in particular, a toy rabbit that supposedly holds the key to saving the universe.although some parts of it looks like the little girl is practising black magic,it is on the whole a science fiction movie.the part where the little girl's tears are pure and everything is abit corny though.

you noe, my driver... he freaks me out.everytime we go shopping he just pops out of nowhere.he is severly over enthusiastic and keep offering to help run errands and inviting my brother to his house to play games and everything. Maybe he's just sucking up to my mum and dad but does he have to use all these slang words to 'communicate' with us?(shudder)boy is he desperate. And, he tends to fall asleep in the car when waiting for me to finish school and when he sleeps, he opens his mouth And the car door so as to "save electricity"because then, he dont have to on the air-con and kids in my school just stand there and gawk at him while he snores away, oblivious to the intense embarrasment he is causing me. oh well, other than that, he is quite all right, I suppose.
